The main antagonist in Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005) is Clarence “Razor” Callahan, usually known simply as Razor. He is the leader of Rockport’s Blacklist and the racer who takes the protagonist’s BMW M3 GTR after sabotaging it before their first major race.
Razor begins the story ranked 15th on the Blacklist, driving a black Ford Mustang GT. After the protagonist loses the BMW, Razor uses the famous car to climb the rankings and eventually becomes the Blacklist’s number-one racer. The player must defeat the other racers before earning a rematch.
Razor is sometimes confused with Sgt. Cross, the police officer pursuing the protagonist, or Darius, a major character from Need for Speed: Carbon. Those characters are important to the wider story, but neither is the central rival in Most Wanted. Razor’s defeat triggers the game’s final confrontation, while Mia’s undercover identity and the police raid bring the story to its dramatic escape sequence.
