Celine is the former demon hunter who raised Rumi in KPop Demon Hunters.
After Rumi’s mother died, Celine fostered her and became the adult most closely connected to Rumi’s upbringing. Celine had previously been both a demon hunter and a K-pop idol, giving her experience in the two worlds that define Rumi’s life.
Celine’s history explains why she understands Rumi’s unusual heritage and the dangers connected to it. She is not Huntrix’s current manager; that role belongs to Bobby, who handles the group’s energetic agent and managerial duties.
The character becomes especially important when Rumi’s demonic patterns spread and her shame threatens her relationships with Mira and Zoey. Celine represents both the protective family bond and the difficult legacy that Rumi must confront.
