The fictional village near Hogwarts containing shops such as Honeydukes is Hogsmeade.
Hogsmeade is the only entirely wizarding village in Britain described in the Harry Potter series. Hogwarts students who have reached the required year and obtained parental permission may visit it during scheduled school trips. The village contains shops, inns, and other businesses serving the wizarding community.
Honeydukes is its famous sweet shop, while Zonko’s Joke Shop sells magical novelties. The Three Broomsticks is a popular pub and inn, and Madam Rosmerta is its proprietor. Hogsmeade Station is also the railway stop used by students arriving at Hogwarts.
Hogsmeade is often confused with Diagon Alley, but the locations serve different purposes. Diagon Alley is a shopping street in London, whereas Hogsmeade is a village close to Hogwarts. Godric’s Hollow is another separate settlement associated with Harry’s family history.
