What is the name of the city where Assassin's Creed Syndicate is mainly set?

The story behind the answer

London is the main setting of Assassin's Creed Syndicate.

Released in 2015, Assassin's Creed Syndicate takes place in London during the Industrial Revolution. The playable Frye twins, Jacob and Evie, work to weaken Templar control over the city while becoming involved with gangs, workers, inventors, and political figures.

The game recreates districts such as Westminster, the City of London, Lambeth, Southwark, and Whitechapel. Its setting allows the series to depict railways, factories, expanding urban neighborhoods, and the social consequences of rapid industrial growth.

Syndicate is often compared with Unity because both games use major European capitals, but they depict different eras and cities. Unity centers on revolutionary Paris, whereas Syndicate centers on nineteenth-century London.
