Which Assassin's Creed game stars Shay Cormac after he leaves the Assassin Brotherhood?

The story behind the answer

Assassin's Creed Rogue stars Shay Cormac after he leaves the Assassin Brotherhood.

Shay Patrick Cormac begins the game as an Assassin operating in the North Atlantic during the Seven Years' War. After a disastrous mission and a crisis of faith, he becomes disillusioned with the Brotherhood and joins the Templars. The story then presents the Assassin–Templar conflict from a Templar perspective.

Released in 2014, Rogue features naval exploration, frozen North Atlantic waters, the Appalachian frontier, and New York City. Its mechanics build on the sailing systems associated with Black Flag while adding hazards such as icy waters and an air rifle.

Rogue connects directly to Unity through Shay's actions and the fate of Arno Dorian's father. It is not the same game as Liberation, whose protagonist is Aveline de Grandpré, or Unity, which follows Arno after the events surrounding his family.
