What is the name of Lightning McQueen's main rival in Pixar's Cars 3?

Jackson Storm is Lightning McQueen's main rival in Pixar's Cars 3.

Storm represents a new generation of highly engineered racers who are faster and more technologically advanced than the older competitors. His dominance makes Lightning question whether he can remain competitive in the Piston Cup series.

The conflict drives Lightning's training with Cruz Ramirez and eventually leads him to rethink his role in racing. Storm is designed as a sleek, dark-colored next-generation race car, contrasting with McQueen's familiar red design.

Chick Hicks is McQueen's principal rival in the first Cars film, while Francesco Bernoulli fills that role in Cars 2. Jackson Storm is the franchise's central racing opponent in Cars 3.
