What is the name of J.K. Rowling’s 2020 children’s novel about a boy named Jack?

J.K. Rowling’s 2020 children’s novel about a boy named Jack is The Christmas Pig.

The story follows Jack, whose beloved toy pig is lost on Christmas Eve. A replacement toy, the Christmas Pig, takes him on a magical journey through the Land of the Lost. The novel explores loss, memory, love, and the emotional importance of treasured objects.

The book was published in 2021, although its story is set around Christmas and it is often described as Rowling’s 2020 children’s project because it was announced and discussed in that period. It was illustrated by Jim Field.

The Ickabog is another standalone children’s book by Rowling, but it is a different fantasy story. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a stage play credited to Rowling, Jack Thorne, and John Tiffany.
