Andy’s remote-controlled car in Pixar’s Toy Story is named RC. RC is a small green remote-control vehicle who helps Woody and the other toys during the film’s climactic rescue.
When Buzz and Woody are separated from Andy’s moving family, RC becomes part of the toys’ plan to catch up with the moving truck. Woody uses RC to carry Buzz across the road, while the other toys help operate the car and create a path through the traffic.
RC’s name is a straightforward abbreviation for “remote control,” not a personal name such as Rex or Rocky. The character has only limited dialogue, so some viewers remember the vehicle visually rather than by name. RC also appears among Andy’s toys in later Toy Story material.
