Cormoran Strike’s assistant in J.K. Rowling’s Galbraith novels is Robin Ellacott.
Robin first appears in The Cuckoo’s Calling, where she begins working as a temporary secretary for private detective Cormoran Strike. Her organizational ability, intelligence, and interest in investigative work make her increasingly important to the agency.
Although Strike is the series’ central detective, Robin develops into a skilled investigator in her own right. The novels explore both the cases they solve and the changing professional relationship between the two characters.
The books are credited to Robert Galbraith, Rowling’s crime-fiction pseudonym. The series includes The Cuckoo’s Calling, The Silkworm, Career of Evil, Lethal White, Troubled Blood, The Ink Black Heart, and The Running Grave.
