What country is listed as Toy Story 5's country of origin?

Toy Story 5 lists the United States as its country of origin. The film is an American animated feature produced by Pixar Animation Studios for Walt Disney Pictures.

The country-of-origin label describes the film’s production identity, not the fictional location of every scene or the nationality of its characters. Pixar is headquartered in Emeryville, California, and the Toy Story films are produced within the American film and animation industry, even though they are distributed and watched internationally.

Toy Story 5 continues a series that began with the 1995 American film Toy Story. Its creative team includes director Andrew Stanton, and its returning stars include Tom Hanks as Woody and Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear. The film’s English-language production and American studio background support the United States listing; Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom are not the film’s listed country of origin.
