J.K. Rowling’s seventh Harry Potter novel was published in the United Kingdom on 21 July 2007.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows concluded the main seven-book story. Bloomsbury released it at one minute past midnight, and readers gathered at midnight events around the world to obtain copies as soon as sales began.
The novel follows Harry, Ron, and Hermione as they leave Hogwarts to search for the remaining Horcruxes. It also develops the mystery of the Deathly Hallows and brings the conflict with Voldemort to its final stage.
The publication date is sometimes confused with the film dates. The first film adaptation of the book was split into Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 in 2010 and Part 2 in 2011. The book itself arrived in 2007 and was the fastest-selling novel at the time of publication.
