In The Lord of the Rings film trilogy, who directed all three movies?

Peter Jackson directed all three films in The Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Jackson directed The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and The Return of the King, which were filmed as one large production in New Zealand. The films were adapted from J. R. R. Tolkien’s three-part novel and released between 2001 and 2003.

Before making the trilogy, Jackson was known for unconventional films including Heavenly Creatures and the horror comedy Braindead. The success of The Lord of the Rings made him one of the most prominent directors in contemporary cinema.
