In The Lord of the Rings film trilogy, what is the name of the inn where Frodo meets Aragorn?

Frodo meets Aragorn at The Prancing Pony in The Lord of the Rings film trilogy.

The Prancing Pony is an inn in Bree, a settlement where Hobbits, Men, and other travelers meet. Frodo, Sam, Merry, and Pippin stay there after leaving the Shire. Frodo uses the assumed name Underhill, but his accidental use of the Ring draws unwanted attention and helps expose the party’s location.

Aragorn is introduced at the inn as Strider, a guarded ranger who knows more about the travelers’ danger than they do. He agrees to guide them toward Rivendell after the Black Riders attack the area. The inn therefore becomes the place where the Hobbits’ private journey turns into a wider mission involving the fate of Middle-earth.

The Green Dragon is a different inn in Hobbiton and is associated with the Shire. Confusing the two locations is common because both appear in the films’ early Hobbit scenes.
