In the 2008 film Kung Fu Panda, who co-directed the film with Mark Osborne?

John Stevenson co-directed the 2008 film Kung Fu Panda with Mark Osborne. Stevenson and Osborne shared directing duties on DreamWorks Animation’s first Kung Fu Panda feature.

Stevenson had worked at DreamWorks for years as a storyboard artist and visual development artist before making his feature-directing debut. Osborne brought previous directing experience, including the short film More, which had received an Academy Award nomination.

The film was produced by Melissa Cobb and developed as an original animated martial-arts comedy rather than an adaptation of an existing Chinese legend. Its story follows Po, a panda who unexpectedly becomes the Dragon Warrior.

Jennifer Yuh Nelson did not direct the first film; she directed Kung Fu Panda 2. Alessandro Carloni later co-directed Kung Fu Panda 3 with Nelson.
