In the 2008 film Kung Fu Panda, what is the name of the training palace where Shifu teaches Po?

The story behind the answer

In the 2008 film Kung Fu Panda, Shifu teaches Po at the Jade Palace.

The Jade Palace is the principal kung fu stronghold in the Valley of Peace. It contains training grounds, ceremonial spaces, and living quarters for Master Shifu and the Furious Five. The palace serves as the setting for Po’s difficult introduction to formal martial-arts training.

After Oogway selects Po as the Dragon Warrior, Shifu initially doubts that the overweight noodle-shop worker can learn kung fu. He eventually discovers that Po responds to food-based motivation and adapts the training to Po’s strengths. The Jade Palace therefore becomes the place where the unlikely student and reluctant teacher begin to understand each other.

The Jade Palace should not be confused with Gongmen City’s palace in Kung Fu Panda 2 or Chorh-Gom Prison, where Tai Lung is held. It is also different from the panda village introduced in the third film.
