In Pixar's Cars, who provides the English voice of Mater?

In Pixar's Cars, Larry the Cable Guy provides the English voice of Mater.

Mater is a rusty tow truck who lives in Radiator Springs and quickly becomes Lightning McQueen's closest friend. Larry the Cable Guy, the stage name of American comedian Daniel Lawrence Whitney, gives Mater his distinctive Southern-influenced speech and comic delivery.

Mater's full character name is Sir Tow Mater, a pun on the phrase “tow mater.” He is intentionally based on an old International Harvester boom truck, although his final design combines features from several real tow trucks. His innocent enthusiasm and loyalty help Lightning understand the value of friendship.

Mater also appears in the later Cars films and stars in the short-form series Mater's Tall Tales. A common mix-up is confusing his voice actor with John Ratzenberger, who voices Mack and has appeared in many Pixar productions. Ratzenberger is not Mater's English voice.
