In Pixar’s Cars, which character is Lightning McQueen’s Porsche 911 friend?

Sally Carrera is Lightning McQueen’s Porsche 911 friend in Pixar’s Cars.

Sally is a blue Porsche 911 Carrera who lives in Radiator Springs and works as the town’s attorney. She helps McQueen understand the history and value of the community after he is forced to remain there. Her friendship with him develops as he becomes less focused on fame and more interested in the people around him.

The character’s name includes a reference to her car model: “Carrera” is associated with Porsche’s sports-car naming. Sally’s design is distinct from the town’s older vehicles, reflecting her earlier life in California before choosing Radiator Springs as her home.

Sally is voiced by Bonnie Hunt. She is not the town’s café owner; that role belongs to Flo, who drives a turquoise show car. Luigi is the yellow Fiat 500 who runs Luigi’s Casa Della Tires. These characters are all part of Radiator Springs but have different designs and occupations.
