In Pixar's Cars, which actor voices the character Mater?

In Pixar's Cars, Larry the Cable Guy voices Mater.

Mater is a rusty tow truck from Radiator Springs who becomes Lightning McQueen's closest friend. His character is known for his exaggerated Southern-style speech, cheerful loyalty, and love of practical jokes. Larry the Cable Guy, the stage name of comedian Daniel Lawrence Whitney, supplied Mater's voice in Cars and returned for the character's appearances in Cars 2, Cars 3, and related Pixar productions.

The casting helped make Mater one of the franchise's central comic characters rather than merely a supporting vehicle. His friendship with McQueen also drives much of the emotional story in the first film. Viewers sometimes confuse the voice actors because Owen Wilson voices McQueen and Paul Newman voices Doc Hudson. Michael Caine, meanwhile, voices the spy car Finn McMissile in Cars 2, giving him a separate role in the franchise.
