Sir Miles Axlerod is revealed as Professor Zündapp's ally and the hidden villain in Pixar's Cars 2.

Axlerod presents himself as a wealthy former oil baron who has become an environmental advocate. He organizes the World Grand Prix to promote Allinol, a supposedly clean alternative fuel. The film later reveals that he is secretly directing the plot to make Allinol-powered cars explode, discrediting the fuel and restoring the importance of oil.

Professor Zündapp serves as Axlerod's principal scientific collaborator, while Finn McMissile and Holley Shiftwell investigate the conspiracy.
