In Pixar’s Cars 2, Finn McMissile is the British spy car who works with Holley Shiftwell to investigate the conspiracy.
Finn is an experienced field agent for British intelligence. He suspects that the World Grand Prix is connected to a larger criminal operation and follows clues involving Allinol, electromagnetic pulses, and the attacks on competing cars.
Michael Caine provides Finn’s voice, giving the character the polished style associated with classic British spy films. Finn uses concealed gadgets, weapons, and defensive equipment, but the film presents him within the Cars world as an anthropomorphic automobile rather than a human secret agent.
Holley Shiftwell is the younger British agent assigned to the investigation, while Mater becomes an accidental participant after Finn mistakes him for an American operative. Finn is not the conspiracy’s mastermind: that role belongs to Miles Axlerod, whose public position as World Grand Prix organizer hides his real plan.
