In Pixar’s Cars 2, British spy car Finn McMissile investigates the international conspiracy.
Finn McMissile is an experienced undercover agent voiced by Michael Caine. He becomes involved after witnessing an operation connected to a mysterious plot targeting competitors in the World Grand Prix. His investigation brings him into contact with Holley Shiftwell, a young British intelligence agent.
Finn initially mistakes Mater for an important American spy because Mater is caught up in the same events. Their partnership forms the film’s central espionage-comedy storyline, while Lightning McQueen competes in the World Grand Prix. Finn’s design combines classic British sports-car styling with spy-film equipment and gadgets.
Holley Shiftwell is a separate character, not an alternative name for Finn. Professor Zündapp is one of the antagonists, and Rod “Torque” Redline is an American agent whose fate helps launch the investigation.
