In Madden NFL 19, who is on the Hall of Fame Edition cover?

Terrell Owens is on the Hall of Fame Edition cover of Madden NFL 19.

Owens, a Pro Football Hall of Fame wide receiver, was announced as the special-edition cover athlete in May 2018. The cover shows him in a Dallas Cowboys uniform, one of the teams for which he became especially recognizable. The Hall of Fame Edition received early-release access for eligible EA Access subscribers.

The standard edition had a different cover athlete: Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown. That two-cover arrangement is the source of many quiz mistakes, because both images belong to Madden NFL 19. The question specifies the Hall of Fame Edition, not the standard release.

Owens played eight seasons with the San Francisco 49ers and three with the Cowboys, so the Dallas uniform generated discussion when the cover was revealed. Regardless of that debate, the edition’s featured player was Owens. Madden NFL 19 was released in 2018 for Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
