Which quarterback shares the Madden NFL 22 cover with Tom Brady?

Patrick Mahomes shares the Madden NFL 22 cover with Tom Brady.

The cover pairing reflected the NFL’s generational contrast: Brady represented established championship greatness, while Mahomes represented the league’s younger superstar quarterback. The two had also just met in Super Bowl LV, where Brady’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated Mahomes’s Kansas City Chiefs 31–9.

Madden NFL 22 marked the second joint cover in the franchise’s history. The first was Madden NFL 10, which featured Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu and Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald. Brady and Mahomes were both appearing on a Madden cover for the second time: Brady had previously been featured on Madden NFL 18, and Mahomes on Madden NFL 20.

Some readers remember Mahomes mainly from Madden NFL 20 and may overlook his return as a co-cover athlete. Madden NFL 22 was released on August 20, 2021, and was the 32nd installment in the series.
