Master Shifu is the red panda who leads the Furious Five’s training in Kung Fu Panda.
Shifu serves as the Jade Palace’s master and is responsible for teaching the five elite kung fu fighters before Po arrives. The Furious Five are Tigress, Monkey, Mantis, Viper, and Crane, each trained under Shifu’s direction.
Although Master Oogway is the senior spiritual master who selects Po as the Dragon Warrior, Oogway does not lead the group’s daily physical training. That distinction is why Shifu is the correct answer for this question.
