In Kung Fu Panda 4, the villain who commands an army of criminal followers is The Chameleon. She is a shape-shifting chameleon who seeks kung fu abilities from defeated masters and uses them to increase her power.
The Chameleon operates in Juniper City, where she builds influence through theft, deception, and magical transformation. Her ability to change size and appearance makes her a distinctive threat for Po, especially because she can imitate other characters and exploit uncertainty.
The Chameleon is sometimes confused with the film’s fox character, Zhen, who begins as Po’s unwilling ally and thief companion. Zhen is not the villain controlling the criminal underworld. The Chameleon is the central antagonist and is voiced in English by Viola Davis.
