Juniper City is the city ruled by the crime boss who appears in Kung Fu Panda 4.
Po travels from the Valley of Peace to Juniper City during the fourth main film. The city is a large urban setting filled with different animal communities, criminals, and political power struggles, giving the story a setting distinct from the rural valley and panda village.
The city’s central underworld figure is Han, a powerful pangolin who controls its criminal network. Po and Zhen become involved in the city’s conflicts while pursuing the threat posed by the Chameleon.
Juniper City should not be confused with Gongmen City from Kung Fu Panda 2. Gongmen City is ruled by Lord Shen, whereas Juniper City is the main urban setting introduced in the fourth film.
