The film opens with Kimberly Corman driving toward a holiday destination. She has a premonition of a catastrophic collision involving trucks, cars and a logging vehicle on a highway. After she blocks the entrance ramp, several people avoid the predicted disaster, but the survivors soon begin dying in circumstances that appear to follow the original order of death.
