Yura carries the Nagakiba during his appearances in Limgrave and Liurnia. The weapon is a particularly long katana, giving it greater reach than many other blades in the same category. Depending on the player’s actions in Yura’s questline, the weapon can eventually be obtained from his body or location.
Yura’s story involves invasions by hostile Bloody Fingers, including an encounter near Murkwater Cave and later events connected with the Second Church of Marika. His body is ultimately taken over by Shabriri, which explains why the NPC encountered later may no longer behave like the original hunter.
Nagakiba should not be confused with Rivers of Blood, which is obtained through the invasion involving Bloody Finger Okina, or Eleonora’s Poleblade, which is also tied to that later church encounter. All three are associated with blood-themed characters, but they are different weapons and weapon classes.
