In Elden Ring, Rykard is the demigod who rules Volcano Manor and bears the title Lord of Blasphemy.
Rykard was one of Queen Marika and Radagon’s children and served as a powerful lord within the Golden Order’s political structure. He eventually rejected the order and allowed the God-Devouring Serpent to consume him, merging his identity with the enormous serpent.
Volcano Manor, located on the volcanic Mt. Gelmir, becomes the center of Rykard’s rebellion against the Erdtree. Its residents recruit Tarnished assassins and oppose the authority of the Two Fingers and the Golden Order.
Rykard’s encounter is distinctive because the Serpent-Hunter weapon placed in the arena is designed to challenge the God-Devouring Serpent from a distance. The fight’s second phase reveals Rykard’s transformed form and his blasphemous ambition.
