In Elden Ring, what title is given to the boss Margit?
Answer
The Fell Omen
Answer
The Fell Omen
In Elden Ring, Margit is titled the Fell Omen.
Margit is the first major story boss encountered at Stormhill, outside Stormveil Castle. He wields a large wooden staff and conjures golden weapons, including a hammer and throwing knives. His encounter introduces players to several recurring ideas in Elden Ring: delayed attacks, sudden changes in rhythm, and bosses who combine physical weapons with supernatural powers.
Margit later appears in another form as Morgott, the Omen King, in Leyndell. Although the two names refer to the same character, “Margit” is the identity used during the Stormveil encounter, while “Morgott” is his royal name. This is why the title “the Fell Omen” should not be confused with Morgott’s title.
The fight is optional for exploring much of the wider world, but defeating Margit opens the main route into Stormveil Castle.
