In Elden Ring, what item lets players summon the Mimic Tear spirit ash?
Answer
Mimic Tear Ashes
Answer
Mimic Tear Ashes
In Elden Ring, Mimic Tear Ashes let players summon the Mimic Tear spirit ash.
The ashes are found in Night’s Sacred Ground, an area within Nokron, Eternal City. They are kept behind an imp-sealed room and require a Stonesword Key to access. The reward is separate from the Mimic Tear boss’s remembrance, even though both are associated with the same mimic concept.
When summoned, the Mimic Tear creates a spectral copy of the player rather than consuming FP. It uses the equipment and abilities available in the player’s loadout, including weapons, shields, armor, spells, and some usable items. The summon’s health is high, but its exact effectiveness depends strongly on the build used when it is called.
The Spirit Calling Bell is still required for spirit summoning in general, and the player must be in an area where spirit ashes are permitted. Mimic Tear Ashes are therefore a summon item, not a second boss reward or a replacement for the bell.
