In Elden Ring, what item allows the player to summon Spirit Ashes?
Answer
Spirit Calling Bell
Answer
Spirit Calling Bell
In Elden Ring, the Spirit Calling Bell allows the player to summon Spirit Ashes.
The bell is given to the Tarnished by Renna, a mysterious witch who appears at the Church of Elleh early in the game. It enables the use of collectible Spirit Ashes, which call spectral allies into battle. These summons can distract enemies, inflict damage, or provide useful status effects.
The bell is easy to confuse with the Roundtable Hold’s spirit-tuning system. Roderika upgrades Spirit Ashes at the Roundtable Hold, but she does not provide the bell itself. The bell also does not summon Torrent, the player’s spectral steed; Torrent is obtained through Melina.
Spirit Ashes generally require FP, although some powerful summons consume HP instead. They can usually be used only in designated areas, marked by a small tombstone-shaped icon on the left side of the screen. The Mimic Tear Ashes are among the best-known summonable spirits.
