In Elden Ring, Dragonfire is the incantation that summons a dragon head to breathe flames at enemies.
Dragonfire belongs to the Dragon Communion school of incantations. When cast, it creates a spectral dragon head in front of the player and projects fire over a broad area. Its requirements include Faith and Arcane, and it is purchased with a Dragon Heart at a Church or Cathedral of Dragon Communion.
Dragonice uses a similar dragon-head casting animation but deals frost damage instead of fire. Agheel’s Flame is a stronger named variant associated with Flying Dragon Agheel, while Greyoll’s Roar is a different Dragon Communion incantation with a roar-based effect. These related names are why Dragonfire is easy to confuse with other dragon spells.
