In Elden Ring, what is the name of Malenia’s distinctive katana?

In Elden Ring, Malenia’s distinctive katana is called the Hand of Malenia.

The weapon is a katana associated with Malenia, Blade of Miquella, one of the game’s major demigod bosses. Players can obtain it by exchanging the Remembrance of the Rot Goddess, received after defeating Malenia, with Enia at the Roundtable Hold.

Hand of Malenia is notable for its unique skill, Waterfowl Dance. This rapid multi-stage attack mirrors Malenia’s own famous combat technique and can unleash several sweeping bursts of sword strikes. The weapon scales primarily with Dexterity and requires both Dexterity and Strength to wield.

It is sometimes confused with Rivers of Blood or Moonveil, two other famous Elden Ring katanas. Rivers of Blood is linked to the Hemorrhage status effect, while Moonveil is associated with a magical blade attack. Hand of Malenia is specifically the katana tied to Malenia’s remembrance and boss identity.
