This level is reached when all eight primary attributes are raised to their maximum value of 99. The character begins at a class-dependent level, so the number of runes required to reach level 713 depends on the chosen starting class and the leveling path.
Elden Ring has no single attribute cap of 713. Instead, each attribute stops increasing at 99, and the total level reflects the character’s starting level plus every attribute point purchased. Reaching the maximum requires an enormous number of runes and is far beyond what is needed for a normal playthrough.
The level cap is therefore mainly relevant to completionists, long-running characters, and players who use repeated New Game Plus cycles or rune-farming methods. Multiplayer matchmaking also considers level and weapon upgrades, so maximum level is not automatically advantageous for every online activity.
