In Dark Souls, which boss guards the entrance to the Undead Parish from the Undead Burg?

In Dark Souls, the Taurus Demon guards the route from the Undead Burg toward the Undead Parish.

This early boss appears on a narrow battlement shortly after the player reaches the upper Undead Burg. The arena includes a tower with two Hollow soldiers, and players can use that tower for a plunging attack after dealing with the enemies above. The fight introduces several recurring ideas in Dark Souls, including dangerous terrain, vertical attacks, and the importance of learning a boss’s movement pattern.

The Taurus Demon is sometimes confused with the Capra Demon because both are early humanoid demons fought in cramped areas. They are separate bosses in different locations: the Taurus Demon is encountered in the Undead Burg, while the Capra Demon blocks access to the Depths from Lower Undead Burg.
