In Dark Souls, what is the name of the Fire Keeper at Firelink Shrine?

The Fire Keeper at Firelink Shrine in Dark Souls is Anastacia of Astora.

Anastacia is imprisoned beneath the shrine and cannot speak during her initial appearance. She tends the bonfire that serves as the central hub’s main checkpoint, allowing the player to kindle and reinforce it after obtaining the required resource.

Her story changes after the player acquires the Fire Keeper Soul associated with her. Lautrec of Carim can kill her if his quest is left unresolved, causing the Firelink Shrine bonfire to go out. The player can later recover Anastacia’s soul and confront Lautrec in Anor Londo.

After Anastacia is restored, she becomes able to speak and provides additional dialogue. She is distinct from other Fire Keepers, including the Fair Lady in Quelaag’s Domain and the unnamed keeper associated with the Undead Parish bell.
