In Dark Souls, Power Within is the pyromancy that temporarily boosts attack power.
Power Within surrounds the caster with a dangerous internal flame. While active, it increases damage output and stamina recovery, but it also steadily drains the caster’s health. The spell therefore rewards aggressive play and careful timing rather than passive defense.
The pyromancy is found inside Sen’s Fortress, in an area reached by navigating traps and hostile creatures. It is usable by characters who meet the spell’s attunement requirements and equip a Pyromancy Flame. Its effects can benefit melee, ranged, and magical builds because the damage increase is broadly useful.
Power Within is often confused with Iron Flesh because both are pyromancies with strong temporary combat effects. Iron Flesh improves physical defenses while limiting movement, whereas Power Within increases offensive pressure while imposing health loss.
