In Dark Souls, what is the name of the miracle that launches a lightning spear?

In Dark Souls, the miracle that launches a lightning spear is called Lightning Spear.

Lightning Spear is a ranged miracle that forms and throws a projectile of lightning. It is strongly associated with the Warriors of Sunlight, the covenant founded by Gwyn’s firstborn. A player normally learns it by joining that covenant and speaking with its miracle trainer, Solaire of Astora, who can be found during the journey through Lordran.

The miracle is useful against many enemies because lightning damage is effective in several early and mid-game encounters. Its limited casts mean that it is a strategic resource rather than an endlessly reusable projectile. Its requirements also make it especially attractive to characters investing in Faith.

Players often confuse Lightning Spear with Great Lightning Spear and Sunlight Spear. Those are stronger related miracles with different acquisition conditions and progression requirements. Lightning Spear is the basic member of the family, not the covenant’s ultimate lightning attack.
