In Dark Souls, Gravelord Nito is the leader of the Gravelord Servant covenant.
Nito is one of the original Lords who discovered a Lord Soul beneath the First Flame. His power is associated with death and disease, and he appears as a massive skeletal figure surrounded by undead remains in the Tomb of the Giants.
Players can join his covenant by reaching the sarcophagus near Nito’s resting place in the Catacombs. Gravelord Servants spread cursed phantom enemies into other players’ worlds under the game’s online system, while covenant progression rewards the Gravelord Sword Dance miracle.
The covenant’s title can cause confusion because Nito is also a major boss and one of the holders of a Lord Soul. Darkstalker Kaathe leads the Darkwraiths, while Gwyndolin is tied to the Blade of the Darkmoon. Those figures belong to different factions and should not be substituted for Nito.
