Jacob Frye is the elder twin of Evie Frye in Assassin's Creed Syndicate.
Jacob and Evie are Assassin siblings who operate in London during the Industrial Revolution. Jacob is impulsive and eager to confront enemies directly, while Evie is more focused on stealth, investigation, and finding powerful Pieces of Eden. Their contrasting personalities shape both the story and the gameplay.
The twins arrive in London in 1868 and work to weaken Templar control over the city. Jacob forms the Rooks, a street gang that supports the Assassins, while Evie pursues a separate investigation involving the Shroud of Eden. The two characters alternate as playable protagonists.
Evie is a twin rather than a younger unrelated partner, and Jacob is her brother. Henry Green, whose birth name is Jayadeep Mir, is an Assassin ally in London. Syndicate was released in 2015 and is the first main series game centered on two sibling protagonists.
