Answer
Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad
In Assassin's Creed (2007), the playable Assassin's full name is Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad.
Altaïr is the central historical character in the first Assassin's Creed game. The Arabic name Ibn-La'Ahad is commonly translated as “son of no one.” At the beginning of the story, Altaïr is a highly skilled but overconfident Assassin who loses his rank after a failed mission in Solomon's Temple.
The game follows his attempts to regain his standing by carrying out assignments in the cities of the Holy Land during the Third Crusade. His targets include important figures connected with the Templars. The modern-day sections reveal that Altaïr's memories are being accessed through the Animus by Desmond Miles.
Altaïr is sometimes confused with Ezio Auditore, the protagonist of the next main game, Assassin's Creed II. Altaïr also appears in later series stories, especially Assassin's Creed: Revelations, which explores his life and legacy in greater depth.
