Who is the playable Assassin in Assassin’s Creed Unity?

Arno Dorian is the playable Assassin in Assassin’s Creed Unity.

Arno is a French Assassin whose story unfolds during the French Revolution. The game begins before the revolution and follows his involvement with the Brotherhood as political upheaval transforms Paris.

Assassin’s Creed Unity was released in 2014 and is set chiefly in Paris. Its design emphasizes dense urban exploration, expanded parkour movement and cooperative missions that allow multiple players to control Assassins together.

Arno is sometimes confused with other nineteenth-century protagonists. Jacob and Evie Frye lead Assassin’s Creed Syndicate in Victorian London, while Shay Cormac is the central character of Assassin’s Creed Rogue. These characters belong to different historical periods and games.
