How many seasons does All Hail King Julien have?
Answer
Five seasons
All Hail King Julien has five seasons.
The Netflix animated series focuses on King Julien before and around the events of the Madagascar films. It follows Julien, Maurice and Mort through comic adventures involving lemur society, rival groups and the responsibilities of leadership.
The season count is easy to confuse with the number of release batches or with other Madagascar television productions. All Hail King Julien premiered in 2014 and ultimately ran for five seasons. Its episodes were released in multiple installments rather than as one traditional broadcast run.
The series is a prequel-style spin-off centered on King Julien, rather than a continuation of the penguins’ separate television show. Danny Jacobs voices King Julien in the series, continuing the character’s established performance from the franchise.
