Destiny’s Child’s final lineup had three members, including Beyoncé.
The trio consisted of Beyoncé Knowles, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams. This lineup became the group’s best-known formation and was active during its biggest commercial period, including the albums Survivor and Destiny Fulfilled.
Destiny’s Child began with a larger lineup. LaTavia Roberson and LeToya Luckett were original members, but both left the group in 2000. Farrah Franklin briefly joined after their departure, making the group a quartet for part of that year before she also left.
Because the group changed size several times, people sometimes remember its original four-member configuration or the brief five-member history incorrectly. The final trio is the lineup most associated with songs such as “Survivor,” “Bootylicious,” and “Say My Name.” The group announced a hiatus in 2005 and later reunited for selected appearances.
