The KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack received five Grammy nominations.
The album's Grammy recognition reflects the unusual crossover success of a fictional pop project created for an animated film. Its songs were credited to the film's fictional performers, especially Huntrix and the Saja Boys, but the underlying songwriting, production, and vocal work came from real artists and collaborators.
The soundtrack won Best Song Written for Visual Media for “Golden.” That victory was notable because the song became the first K-pop song to win a Grammy. The album also achieved a separate chart milestone: it became the first film soundtrack to place four songs in the Billboard Hot 100 top ten simultaneously.
The five nominations should not be confused with the film's Academy Award recognition. “Golden” also won the Academy Award for Best Original Song at the 98th Academy Awards, but that is a different ceremony and category. The Grammy total refers specifically to nominations for the soundtrack project.
