Frankenstein won three BAFTAs at the 2026 Film Awards. The film’s victories came in Costume Design, Make Up & Hair, and Production Design.
The three wins made Frankenstein one of the ceremony’s strongest technical performers. Kate Hawley won for Costume Design; Mike Hill, Jordan Samuel and Cliona Furey were recognized for Make Up & Hair; and Tamara Deverell and Shane Vieau won Production Design.
The count can be mistaken because Frankenstein received additional nominations, including recognition in acting and other categories. Nominations are not victories, however, so the total is three rather than four or more. The awards were spread across the visual departments that created the film’s distinctive gothic world.
The 79th BAFTAs honored films released in 2025 and were held at London’s Royal Festival Hall on February 22, 2026. Frankenstein’s result also echoed its later awards-season strength in craft categories, but this question asks only about its BAFTA wins.
