Sara Murphy shared One Battle After Another’s Best Film BAFTA with Adam Somner and Paul Thomas Anderson.
The trio were the credited producers when the film won Best Film at the 79th British Academy Film Awards on 22 February 2026. Murphy is an American film producer whose work has included independent features and several collaborations with Anderson.
One Battle After Another was Murphy’s second Best Film BAFTA association with Anderson: she had also been part of the producing team for Licorice Pizza, which was nominated in the category in 2022. The newer film converted its nomination into a win and became the night’s leading film with six awards.
The nearby names in the options belong to other Best Film-nominated productions. Andrea Berentsen Ottmar was credited on Sentimental Value, Liza Marshall on Hamnet and Zinzi Coogler on Sinners. They were nominees, not producers of the winning film.
