Baz Sells was a credited winner for Two Black Boys in Paradise with Dean Atta and Ben Jackson at the 2026 BAFTA Film Awards.
The trio won the British Short Animation award at the 79th British Academy Film Awards, held at London’s Royal Festival Hall on 22 February 2026. BAFTA’s official results list Baz Sells, Dean Atta and Ben Jackson together under the winning film.
Two Black Boys in Paradise competed against Cardboard and Solstice. The award is presented to the credited creative contributors of the winning short, so the question is asking for one member of the winning team rather than the film’s title.
A common mix-up is confusing the short-animation nominees with the British Short Film category. Two Black Boys in Paradise won animation; This Is Endometriosis won British Short Film. The other names in the options were attached to competing animated shorts, not the winner.
