Who won Best Film as a producer of One Battle After Another with Adam Somner and Sara Murphy?

Paul Thomas Anderson won Best Film as a producer of One Battle After Another with Adam Somner and Sara Murphy at the 2026 BAFTA Film Awards.

The film won BAFTA’s top prize at the 79th ceremony on 22 February 2026. Its credited Best Film producers were Adam Somner, Sara Murphy and Anderson. Somner’s credit was posthumous, following his death before the film’s release and awards campaign.

Anderson was not only a producer: he wrote and directed the film as well. His BAFTA night therefore included wins for Best Film, Director and Adapted Screenplay, helping One Battle After Another lead the ceremony with six awards.

The producer list can be confused with the Best Director nominees, where Anderson was the winner, or with the producing teams of rival Best Film nominees such as Hamnet, Marty Supreme and Sinners. The wording “as a producer” correctly identifies Anderson’s role in the Best Film credit.
